Forklift Focus is an internationally operating wholesaler of used forklifts and warehouse vehicles, located in the East of Holland at the German border. We started in 2012 and currently work with 10 people. We specialize in machines from the brands Linde and Unicarriers, but all other brands also come to us. Every year we buy more than 800 pieces of internal transport equipment, and these first go through our workshop in Haaksbergen before we offer them to our customers (forklift companies worldwide). Because our company is growing rapidly, we are looking for experienced forklift mechanics for our workshop.
Your duties: Resolving malfunctions in forklifts (electric, diesel and LPG) and warehouse vehicles and selecting the necessary parts for repairs. Complete overhaul of forklifts. Testing and repairing attachments, traction batteries and chargers. Changing wheels and tires, dismantling machines for parts, cleaning and updating forklifts, etc. Your contribution: You have technical knowledge obtained through, for example, technical education Motor vehicle technology, agricultural machinery or mechatronics.
Work experience as a maintenance or service technician in the material handling sector is of course an advantage. It is an advantage if you live in the Haaksbergen area. Furthermore, you are inventive, so that the forklifts are made working again quickly and at low costs. Thanks to your technical insight, you can analyze malfunctions and consult technical diagrams. You are flexible, which means you can quickly switch between the different tasks, depending on priority. And finally, you are a real team player.
